  whoever wrote the line that a witness cannot play chess is not true i play all the time. the part about the women cannot pray or (teach) in the presence of a capable brother without a head covering is true and a scripture that is pointed out in the bible.1 Cor 11:2-10 once she has it on then she is encouraged to do so. Psalm 68:11 As far as to not speak to the shunned or disfellowshipped or somebody who is being disciplined. People who are disfellowshipped are people who have been counseled on for ex: (the abuse of drugs), not just once or twice but are encouraged to come back to a righteous standing before God even before they are disfellowshipped or like i call it, discipline. when you send a child on a time out they have repeatedly been disobedient. after the parent has given the last warning and the child one more time become defiant are discilined. my question to anybody who has children, when a child is being disciplined is this a time for playing with toys or calling their friends to just chat or is this a time to sit, think and reflect on the poor behavior of that individual. it is left up to the individual in any instance to go and see if things that people understand truly are what is real time. if you are not a witness of jehovah do not believe anything without checking for your self. the old saying is true: never judge a book by its cover or only read a part of the book!

  The people are very friendly. They study the bible in depth. Anyone would feel comfortable.
